Segni di luce
Dai ricordi delle ombre proiettate sui muri dalla stufa a legna a notte fonda viste da bambina nella casa natale alla passione consolidata nel tempo verso la luce in tutte le sue forme progettate e non. Immortalandola è come dar’ sfogo a delle emozioni represse. L’artificialità della luce non ha la stessa eterea leggerezza rispetto quella naturale ma può avere forza e calore e può attraversare gli spazi. Peter Zumthor si chiedeva di quanto luce ha bisogno l’uomo e di quanta oscurità? La risposta sta in tre pensieri, ma l’ultimo enunciava ”la luce – quella naturale che vive nelle sue sfumature, mai uguale a se stessa, dal sole, all’ombra, dal buio alla penombra e quella artificiale, progettata nel dettaglio per caratterizzare lo spazio senza invaderlo”.
Signs of light
A work coming from memories, from the shadows projected on the walls by the wood stove that I used to watch when I was a child, in the house where I was born, to the passion consolidated over time for the light in all its form. Immortalize these fleeting forms correspond to venting repressed emotions. Artificial light has not the same ethereal lightness than the natural one, but it has strength and warmth, it can pass through spaces. Peter Zumthor wondered how much light and how much darkness a man need. The answer lies in three thoughts, but the last enunciate: “The light, the natural one, which lives in its shades never equal to itself – from the sunlight to the shadow, from darkness to twilight until the artificial one – is designed to characterize in detail the space without invading it”.
